Aims and Objectives of the council are to
- Register and re-register the practicing nurses, Licensing, verifying nurses in the state and outside the state.
- Inspection and recognition of training institutions/establishments for nursing programmes.
- Conducting continuing nursing education programmes.
- Conducting examination for Auxiliary Nurse Midwives.
